A little late, but I have a journal entry in honor of my birthday. I had a Dippin Dots cake, which was the richest and most expensive cake I've ever eaten. Oh hells yeah it was worth it! Anyway, I also got some nice earrings, a PS2 controller that will work, new headphones to replace my breaking ones and a printer/scanner. Now let the random scanned crap flow!! Oh, and I also got to eat at Cheeseburger In Paradise and watch the movie Rent, which was better than I thought it would be.

Anyway, I wanted to do something to celebrate my birthday, but two things I had planned I didn't get to do because I was a tad too busy for them. Then it hit me like... well, anyway.

I was planning to write a second Danny Phantom fic for those who don't get the Fiasco. Plus, it's fun to write fics and I need practice writing closer to the show (and The Fiasco is WAY out there as you can tell). I had one idea in mind, but I got hit with another good idea. So, for my birthday, I'll let you decide America!

Which DP fic will play alongside The Fiasco for the non-Fiasco people? You decide! I don't know how long the voting will take, but I'll probably close the polls when I have enough votes. Until then, pick your poison! Your choices in no random order are:

Fanfic #1: Hard Copy (possibly a working title)
Synopsis: While investigating an accident outside Amity Park, Danny accidentally unleashes Nyx, a duplicate ghost that takes the form of human Danny. As he tries to hide and get rid of Nyx, Danny finds some unusual facts about her. Interested in her origin and desperate to get rid of her, Danny helps Nyx find a few things out about herself. That’s when they learn the hard way that some things are better left a mystery.
Brief Info: This is a neat fic that will be good exericse for writing closer to the show. I like the character Nyx so she will be fun to work with. And the fact that Nyx will take on an exact copy of Danny (besides the voice) spells fun fodder like what we've seen in the Identity Crisis ep.

Fanfic #2: A Toast to Innocence
Synopsis: Set in the three days between December 30 and January 1, Danny and Jasmine befriend some lesser known neighbors of theirs named Morgan and Seth. During the New Year, Morgan and Seth will send Danny and Jazz on a journey they'll never forget.
Brief Info: Now this will be an interesting story to pull off. It will be closer to the show, hopefully, but it'll be different. All the main characters are human, though some ghosts make appearances. Plus, the plot involves references to death and drugs. But, above all, it'll be an episode that takes place during the New Year. You see a lot of shows celebrating Valentines', Christmas and Halloween, but you hardly see shows that'll celebrate a holiday like the New Year. So that change of pace might definetely make this plot interesting.

Oh, and if I think of any, I'll eventually write some non-DP fics too
